Open your eyes and take a look at the world...

Take a look around you, and then take a look beyond that... open your eyes to all the problems around us. For a society that is as technologically, and socially advanced as we are, there's a lot wrong with the world - a lot of imbalance, and a lot that's just outright wrong.

We are destroying our world - through wasteful consumption of resources, pollution, and overpopulation.
We are destroying each other - through violence, words of hatred, wars, terrorism, and oppression.
We are destroying our economy through irresponsible trade practices.

Everywhere you look, if you look beneath the surface, there's a path of waste, violence, and destruction. Is this really what we want?

So how do we even begin to fix it? There's so many problems I wouldn't even know where to begin. I'm just one person, with very limited resources. But, as a society, we can do better.

I challenge everyone, in the coming year - get informed and get involved. Show the world that there's a better way. Make your voice heard.
